not just model, but if you get a lucky mobo, and i can confirm it w/ recent results having had my hands on 2 p5k premiums and 2 p5k deluxes in the same two weeks with the same chip and peripherals one premium clock 450x8 @ 1.4 stable, but i could not touch any nb or sb volts without getting random posting errors this premium clocks 450x8 @1.42 stable and i can change nb sb volts w/o posting issues i didnt have as much time w/ the deluxes as they were for my brothers computer, but they needed considerable more voltage to get the same clock, and im not sure if they were ever even stable since i didnt run them for longer than 30 minutes (just looking at that initial 15 min segment where 99% of the errors will occur) the deluxes would boot 450x9 though O_O obviously not stable but atleast they got into windows

1600 x8 multiplier worked like a charm thanks. now I need good temp monitor or is core temp o.k. cpu-z is saying cpu is 3.6 but core temp is saying 3.2 bios also says 3.2, why is cpu z screwed up.

CPU-Z reads the stock multiplier, and doesn't account for the changes you made. It's really 3.2, the coders just got lazy

Ignore it, those programs will read it wrong when you change the multi.
I'm sad you can get 1600FSB. I can't and i'm on the same board. It bsods randomly during startup.

its the opposite, coretemp and other prog read the stock multi, cpu-z is the only one that reads right for me....

do you still have speedstep on? cpuz will read correct multi when thats on too while the others still ignore it, but if you do maybe you THINK its reading wrong when its actually just reading the downclock most other programs tell me im 4ghz, i wish it were true
