Hi ...
__________________New here ... Ok I have an E2140 but had an E2160 (almost the same). On my 2160 I never got the FSB past 350. On my 2140 I can't get past 380 yet. Things that I have tried: -FSB strap 333 doesn't work on my board might work on P35's -FSB strap 266 seems best for my set up -Pin mods for vcore currently useing the 1.4v one. -Pin mod for 1.55 vcore gives me 1.55 in bios 1.21 in anyother program Suspect for all this chaos is memory a friend managed to run FSB 425 with some different memory. I will try the same stix on the weekend. Any other suggestions are welcome. Just letting you know it isn't that easy to get to a 100% with these chips.

oh wow. i had no idea the E2140 did that well! i'm very impressed guys. Maybe i should get one of these lil guys with a cheap gigabyte board (ga-s3) and upgrade to the quad core after the x38 comes out

hey guys, So far I've got my 2160 to 3005 (9x333) running a vcore of 1.4v idle 1.35v load after vdroop. Stable. I think I've got to take it slower from here as I did have it running at 3159 (9x350) but it needed alot more vcore
I may have to reseat my cooler too as I get idle temps of 31(speedfan cores) and 52-4 on load 34 case idle 37-8 case load. Ambient is some where around 24 Im in the basement but we got a little heat wave in the north. I think the Vdroop on this board is the real problem in limiting my OC its 0.075v from the bios to load. I see theres a pencil mod for the P5K vanilla but my boards is Slightly different. So heres me praying to the vmod gods

Yeah, I also thought temperatures would be the problem but ...

New results :
__________________![]() had to up the voltage a tad bit. ran prime 95 stable for 5 hours 55 minutes until I stopped it. Temp was in the high 40s. Plenty stable for me, no BSODs ever. Will obviously try for more =) Not bad for a chip that starts at 1.8ghz eh? damn pic came out somewhat squished...3.2ghz@1.392v (set to 1.43 or so in BIOS)
