Im not that happy with my chip since it seems im running way more volts through it to get it up there. I think im gonna try dropin my multi and maxing my ram since im not comfortable running over 1.5 v through it

Last night, I was messing arround with dry-ice and found that as soon as temps went below 5 celcius the FSB wall was gone.

Screenshots comming soon.

do you have that enabled/on auto?

you should be able to pump out an easy 3ghz on that cpu
Thanks for the welcome mate.
Multi was at 8 during the SuperPi run - dropped back to 6 by the time I grabbed a screenie.
I've now turned most of the power saving features to manual.

Think I still got a bit of reading to get me up to speed on the whole concept of how to OC safely/correctly and the way FSB/Latencies/Voltages relate.
Dropped my FSB back to 350x8multi for 2.8GHz - 3.5hrs Orthos stable.

so i went back today and decided to have one more shot at 4.0...

well didnt quite make it.lol....i did hit 3.7 but that took 1.68 vcore..so i stopped there...mainly wanted to do it to find out what these proc's were capable of and what people could expect out of them....prob could hit 4.0 or more but it would take quite a bit of vcore and a bunch of cooling..lol
