Hey NC make sure and edit your first post to add the info there... I am trying to keep this thread short and sweet so people can just scroll through a few pages and find their setup with settings and such...

That looks to be right on the edge with a few degrees of headroom if you consider 72.3C as the actual spec and that you haven't baked in... looks like a winner if you can prove it stable

yea, I can confirm my wall's moved from 350FSB to 375FSB (though I don't wanna get too close to 375, so I'm act 372FSB. However, one thing I did notice between my series of screen shots is that the northbridge temps have gotten SIGNIFICANTLY hotter, which leads me to believe that if you can cool the NB even more, you may seem better results on this board.... since I'm water cooling, the thought of watercooling the NB came into thought for ... 5 seconds lol. I don't wanna add another area of risk for leaks...

But anyway, thought I'd share that... the jump is probably about 4-5C HIGHER... and I was told to try to stay below 50C... this jump is still making it very difficult. I'm AT 46C Prime95x4, where my temps for my chips are 43C, after an hour (albeit I am watercooling).

Cool those NB! I emailed Asus yesterday... regarding this wall. I figure it won't do anything, but adding one headcount to the complaint dept. won't hurt lol.

S u r at 3.348GHz.

I would most definitely buy the extra water block pipes and whatever you need if you already have the rest for the CPU... the NB's importance in OC'ing is always undermined... The P5N32-E's NB is one of those that get extra hot when raising the FSB so I would most def. do it... I have a lapped Noctua with a 17 CMF 60mm fan on it but why not get it wet and call it a done and sealed deal?

Keep it up bro, this is one of the "problem boards" for the Q66 G0. The rest of the popular options seem to be good to go from factory, and we will probably only see limitations on those setups from temps and the chip itself. Can't wait to see when water and other methods are put into action on this chip...

I just got a G0 yesterday. It doesn't seem to clock much higher than I would normally expect, but requires less Vcore and runs MUCH cooler at a given clock.

3.15Ghz is decent, though. What was the highest stable clock you could get?

Also, fill in your system specs! =P

I was able to get to 3.33 (9x370) at 1.35 Vcore (1.4 set in BIOS) but my goal was to get above 3.0 with as low a voltage as possible. I didn't want to exceed 1.35 Vcore as this is my first overclock.

u__u; You're crazy. That chip is probably good for 3.6Ghz+ Stable @ low voltages. I thought you were saying you tried to get higher and failed.

I agree that you will be able to get more while staying below 1.4V and if you are at 1.4 or lower you are in the safe zone for sure from everything I've read.
