I have everest installed but I don't see the purpose of it when I have nVidia performance control panel. Anyway, there is also the volt drop problem. Therefore I'm not sure if 1.45 would take me far.

I run 1650 FSB (412.5 x 4), 3.3GHz @ 1.38125 Vcore while using 1.45 SPP voltage and I'm very stable. If you are @ 1.45-1.50v SPP and you aren't running stable, there is probably something else you need to change on your system. I know I have a dual core opposed to your Quad, but that shouldn't make a difference concerning the SPP in this case.

This is what I would do. Leave all settings on auto, raise your fsb to 333 and leave your multi at x9, leave your Ram at stock speeds. When in Windows, note all the voltages that auto provided you, 9 times out of 10 auto will always set your voltages too high. After you have noted the voltages, run Prime95 to verify stability. If Prime can run for an hour with no errors, restart and enter Bios, set the voltages to manual, adjust the voltages lower and retest with Prime. This is a rinse and repeat cycle, you lower voltages until you have errors in Prime then you raise them until you have no more errors.

One thing confusing though, when you say "stock speeds" do you mean that I should set the timings to the timings provided on ocz.com and the same with the mhz speed, or should I keep it underclocked at 800mhz?

Memory is the last thing I overclock, no reason fighting 2 overclocks at once when you don't have to.

Ok, but I'll need to set them to stock because the mhz is underclocked and the timings seem to be higher, or should I keep it that way? And one more thing, should CPU FSB Volt be 1.5? or should I keep it at auto like you suggested?

IDK with the 680i board, but with mine I didn't need to start pumping FSB volts until I was > 470 fsb. That was with a C2D, with my quad at 400 fsb, I think my voltage is 1.35, not sure though because I haven't been in my bios for a week or so.

I don't understand though, Ain't I supposed to pump the FSB clock ( that is 1066 at default ) to increase the core clock of the CPU? I can't see what you mean by raising it to 333, unless you mean 1333?

You'll get nothing but trouble if you try to skip it.. you're also just asking people here to tell you what to do, and well, if you'd been reading for just a little while, you'll see that every CPU is a little different.
__________________You should fine tune it on your own.. don't ask other people to do it for you. Anyway, other people have said that you should only run 1.5v at your own risk.. and also, why do you want to go straight to the max voltage?
