Maximum voltage recommended by nVidia on 680i A1
__________________CPU Core: 1.58750v CPU FSB: 1.5v Memory: 2.3v nForce SPP: 1.50v Should I set my board to this? Could I skip pumping the SPP since I'm not going to overclock my graphic card? Can the Q6600 G0 stand these volts without shorting lifespan way, way too much? How much would you assume I could overclock this RAM to? And should I set its correct timings before overclocking its mhz? Which temperature is my ambient temperatures ( if any ) and isn't speed fan the best program to monitor temperatures? System: -12°C CPU: 30°C AUX: 32°C Core 0: 17°C Core 1: 20°C Core 2: 21°C Core 3: 16°C Thank you so much.

Ambient temps - Room temp.
You should not run a CPU that has more than 1.5v daily. Your RAM is rated 2.35, so 2.3v should do.

Also you have to add 15C to your temps on speed fan for them to be semi-accurate, due to the difference in Tjunction

nVidia recommended 1.58750V CPU core? I sincerely doubt that. Like TaiDinh said, I wouldn't go over 1.5v
And the only voltage that will specifically determine your Video Cards overclock will be the voltage on the actual card, which can only be modified with a volt-mod of the card itself. The SPP you are talking about is the Northbridge. The voltage may have to be increased for the SPP to operate correctly while overclocking, but won't determine or help the actual clockspeeds of your GPU. I wouldn't take it over 1.5V per nVidia's recommendation though. Those temperatures seem off. I'd use CoreTemp95 to get a better reading, Speedfan can be off with some systems. Hope this helps.

My Room temperatures are probably fine, it's not too hot here since I live in Iceland and the computer is not in a specific room ( it's in an open area ) in the house but it is in a corner.
__________________Do you suggest then that I use exactly 1.5 as every day CPU and FSB voltage? Some recommend 1.45 but that was with a dual core processor, these Quads require more power for more clocks. So why is the voltage of the PCI-Express slot always the same when I modify it according to nVidia's Monitor? Lastly, should I set the RAM timings to what OCZ say they should be before overclocking the RAM mhz? Thanks

What does SPP stands for? You can run 1.5v daily at your own risk, but nothing over that limit. I don't think you can modify the PCI-E voltages?

You want to find the lowest value for each setting that provides a stable overclock.
This means trial and error on your part, first you need to set a goal. What speed do you want to reach? I can run at 3.6 24/7 with a 1.45 vcore, I have benched at 3.9 with a 1.56 vcore, temps were very high. Until I get my WC setup running 3.6 will be my speed.

Well, it'd be nice if my CPU would live for at least 2 years. I'm quite new at overclocking so I'm not certain if I should be aiming at a certain speed. You can see my cooling below, I want to maximize the overclock according to that. The fans are at 2000RPM. You don't have the same motherboard so you might need less voltage than I do, perhaps 1.5 would be suitable for me?

The Northbridge (SPP) voltage may have to be increased if you overclock your system, like your CPU and motherboard's Front Side Bus (FSB). What it should be specifically set at will vary depending on your overclock of these components. I'd always operate at the lowest voltage you can run stable at. To find that, you'll have to test it yourself when you run stress-tests like Orthos or OCCT. 1.5v is just a recommendation of a safe maximum, but it's not set in stone (You overclock at your own risk). Watching the the temperatures - you could can try to use Speedfan for this (make sure you are reading the correct temp), or download Everest, which is a really handy program that gives you a lot of detailed info on your system including many temps. I'd stick with CoreTemp for CPU temps, as it's been known to be one of the most accurate CPU temp monitors.

I don't think you will even need that much. It also depends how high you want to go. I can run my power hungry B3 at 3.15 with 1.4v
