Yes Coretemp is correct, that doesn't mean you or anyone else knows what to do with the numbers because they haven't been defined yet. The thermal spec for our procs is in regard to the sensors I circled in blue in my screen shot.

Did you really think you could get a 100% overclock without even being close to the thermal threshold?

Err.. In my speedfan I dont even have a CPU temp, this is what I have:
Temp1: 49C
Temp2: 22C
Temp3: -2C (lol)
Core0: 22C
Core1: 23C

I can get my E2160 to 3.59 but only last 20 mins. It works very stable at 3.4 with 41c idle and 57c loaded.

Just go into configure and rename them, that why mine looks different. You can rename your fans and RPM labels too.

Eh.. but that pic shows the CPU temp nearly 10C, which is quite a lot!

I know it will come close to the threashold, but I just need to know which version of Coretemp will give me accurate readings!

As it is, I am on 2.2Ghz, way undervolted (1.05V, stock is 1.325) but idle at 38C, as shown by Coretemp 0.95.4.

I'm hoping someone can confirm that this is wrong, and I should read temps with 0.94 - that way I have 15C lower temps, of around 25C idle which is amazing!

What was "CPU" originally called then?

Cos if its "Temp1" that makes no sense... my Temp1 is 49C!
