Default oc cpu to the point it frys
is it possible to oc a laptop cpu to the point were it will break and not work no more
and if so please tell me how

Set your vcore to 1.7v, ramp up the clock speed, turn on Prime95 small FFT, and put the laptop in a small space with no ventilation. Then enjoy the show!

Most laptops don't have OC options though

..ClockGen...SysTool..SoftFSB...etc...you could raise the clock speed if you know what ICS chip the mobo uses...but rasing the vcore requires taking the cpu out of the socket for modification.

Get one of those programs..oc the cpu..leave the laptop plugged in and run some orthos 'small FTT's' on the cpu for hours...that'll bust something loose.

Search on your mobo and laptop type...you need info. Type in 'whatever your laptop type is'-overclocking..and google. See what you come up with. Someone has done it before if it can be done..and you will get plenty of info.

Otherwise..start puking out the info man..Im not a magician.
