I HAD to undervolt from stock voltage to overclock, otherwise the CPU would overheat.

3.0 @ 1.275 (bios), 1.224 (both cores 100% load)

I tried 1.225 (bios), wasn't stable, so i added .05v and it was.

At the current undervolting, the CPU runs @ 60c load, w/o the undervolt it'd probably like 75.

I've currently got my E4400 at 2.8Ghz @ 1.225 volts and it couldn't be happier.

My E6550 (2.33Ghz) can be undervolted to 1.0v and probably lower if i tried when it is at stock speeds. Right now it is at 3.41Ghz and it's voltage is at 1.300v and stock is 1.325, it's definitely possible lol.

Great thread btw +rep

Thank you, for taking the time to do this, I'm sure that this helped a lot of people. Although I'm not one of them, I am unable to read the file format created by MS in their quest for a monopoly. If you can, someday perhaps, you could put this file in html or pdf format the humble masses could then benefit from your hours of toil. Sincere thanks again

Nice work, I searched before posting my thread but not much came up resembling my search terms(undervolted overclocked)... Though if I had used undervolt and overclock I would have found your thread. My bad.

What do you guys think continue running P95 or lower the voltage even more?

-EDIT-

Ah crap forgot to include CPU-Z in the SS, it's @ 1.136 currently...

-EDIT- #2

Added a SS with CPU-Z...

Well CoreTemp only shows your voltage ID, not the current voltage. Open CPU-Z to show us what your load voltage is.

I'd say 3.0GHz with anything less than 1.2v is quite a feat...see if you can drop below 1.1v
