Arrow *Lots of Info* My e6750 Benchmark Chart

I've spent over a month compiling data on my e6750 processor, figuring out minimum stable voltages at certain speeds, and I'm finally ready to release my research. As it turns out, for the higher FSBs, the voltage/speed graph isn't a straight line. It looks more exponential, albeit slight.

A stable overclock for me is an 8 hour session of Orthos Small FFTs. If it passes that, it gets entered into the chart.

The reason I started at 450 MHz (3.6 GHz) is because from what I've seen, most people are able to overclock safely to that speed with only 1.4-ish volts. I personally consider that a casual overclock, but by no means an unimpressive one... this research is just meant to demonstrate the kinds of results you can expect when taking an e6750 to the next level.

The large blue line and dots represent actual results, as indicated by the chart on the left. I went ahead and approximated the kinds of speeds I could expect for a given voltage, which is shown by the thin blue and red lines. For approximations, I used some calculus (Taylor series, anyone? ) based on the final six data points. The blue line represents the best case scenario (a third order series), so that's what I can expect if God himself helps me overclock even higher. The red line represents the worst case scenario (fourth order series). Actual results will be somewhere in the middle, so for example, I can probably hit 486 MHz by using 1.6 volts.

I only let it go to 1.7v, because after that I'm pretty sure you'll short out the CPU. Let me know what you think, and enjoy!

Thems be BIOS volts. Vdroop for my board is typically 0.07v - 0.08v. I'm running about 1.54 BIOS volts and CPU-Z / Everest read 1.46v.

That chart would be hard to follow for some as like me, I need to run 1.47 volts at 3.6 to run stable for 6hours 1.56 for 3.8 It is a real good guide line though.

Dang, I need to trade someone my memory for theirs :x.

First of all I should've gotten 1066 instead of 800 (stupid me not paying attention)

And for some reason my RAM doesn't overclock worth a dang. Can't get it past 860 for the life of me.
Pretty good timings though. (4-4-4-5)

Anyways, thanks alot for the info on the 6750. Now I don't have to experiment as much for myself :P

I tried running those volts and I error after 1 1/2 min in orthos (1.41@450) had to keep bumping up until i was stable and that was my final setting 1.47. I increased about hour in each increment of adjustment until i reached 6 hours 45min. I figured im stable at that much time.

I need to run my E6750 at the same voltage to get 3.6ghz as well with a 12 hour Prime95. But I only need to run 1.53 volts to get to 3.8ghz.

My RAM is DDR 800, but it's notoriously good at overclocking. 960 MHz @ 4-4-4-12, who can argue
