Wow that's a sweet OC! Is that an M0 E2140? Just like lins said, I would rep you if I could.

Hunting for my max OC on my 2160 L2, but noticing some weird temps.

I have a Hyper TX2 like Avalanche there, and am also running at 3.0ghz at the moment. I cleaned & reseated the HSF w/ AS5 after initial temps were very bad, I also replaced the intel pushpins w/ a backplate. (VERY nice).

I had to give mine a little voltage bump so it would stay at about 1.29v under load (vdroop is bad on P5K).

Temps are 33c idle, but load temps vary. Orthos blend is around 59-61C. Orthos small FFT is about 65-66, and Intel TAT will hit 70C if I let it go. Also, at idle TAT reports temps about 2C hotter than Coretemp, at load TAT reports temps about 2C cooler than Coretemp.

If anyone has advice interpreting these temps on a E21x0 I'd appreciate it so I know what to look to next. I'm worried about going higher right now, already had one BSOD in TAT after hitting 73C (before reseating).

I'm at 3000 MHz, I think I am stable, but have not yet done any testing whatsoever. Lins, do you want my system specs and details now? Or once I've confirmed that I'm stable and happy? FWIW, I do intend to push this OC a little farther...

Gridstop, see if you can fill the specs so we are bale to help you. The difference between the idle and load temp is huge in this case so it seems like the contact of HS isn’t that well.

Sir Humpsalot, go ahead to do some stress tests or see if you can push higher. Watch out the temp. You can post your configuration here once you confirme the rig is stable. Thanks for the update. Would like to hear from you soon.
