I had a question since a lot of people here have the same motherboard I just bought, what is the difference between the DS3L's rev1.0 and 2.0?

I really need better cooling, my temp gaps are huge.

My temps are confusing too since my Ambient Temp has big gaps depending on the time of day

I also need to increase the Vcore from 1.35 to 1.45 just to get it fully stable past 3ghz.

As soon as I replace my cooler with something better I'll post my new speeds since temps are the limit.
Thanks for your information. I will do update as soon as I get back office.

BTW I Prime95 tested (2 open at once) overnight while I slept, it went 7 hours successfully (I know 12/24 hours are the standard TRUE stable test times). I have to say I'm impressed by my ram, I had it up to 950mhz, not bad for a 2 year old 1GB kit. And WOW does TF2 run so much better, my FPS never drops below 60-70 with max settings & medium texture detail @ 1280x960.

Another question, does anyone else with the DS3L use onboard sound, if so can you check to see if you have sliders on your recording mixer. I can't move any of the volume sliders for say...mic or line in. My microphone works in game (cs1.6/tf2) and in ventrilo.

Only difference I see is the extra 2 USB's on the Rev2.0. So I'm guessing in terms of overclocking and performance they are identical?

I don't use onboard sound so I don't know. Hope others give you some information.

That’s it. Maybe some cosmetic changes or fixes some minor issues that end users report or they found out in rev 1.0. As far as the performance goes, I can be wrong, I don’t think so

What air cooler's would you guys recommend for my setup? I'd like to try to push this cpu up to 3.4~3.6. The cpu doesn't really need to last much longer than 4-5 months, but I'd like to not fry it since its such a nice little piece of work.

This should work, Link, and if it doesn't you're only out $.99. I just bought 3 of them since that's how many rebates they allow.
