As far as I know, the CPU GTLREF is for increasing FSB potential without actually overvolting your CPU. For instance, in my case, E2180 runs at 3.6G and vcore closes to 1.52. If I want to try 3.8G but I don’t want to increase vcore, I will try to increase the CPU GTLREF to see how it goes.

What is the guideline on increasing NB voltage.
My 2180 runs 300fsb with 1.425 vcore 10hours stable on prime95. It needs 1.5 vcore @ 320. The NB is set to auto on a P5K-E. Would a increase in NB reduce the vcore needed at 320fsb? Is there a temperature guidline for increasing NB voltage?
