I like how the bios (I think f6 bios) on the DS3x boards have a nice "auto voltage" feature. The first time I oc'd my chip to 3GHz, I left the auto voltages enabled, and all I had to do was up the FSB to 300MHz and put the RAM on the appropriate divider to keep it around DDR2 800. That's it--booted up beautifully and was rock stable. After 3GHz, I had to adjust voltages manually.

Is it just me or is anyone else having trouble getting their e2180 stable past 3.2Ghz. I looked at the chart but the specs don't always work for me. My PC might boot but it is far from stable. I try tweaking the voltages and I can't seem to get it stable. I thought I was going to be able to get 3.4 or 3.6 out of this CPU. Heat is not my problem. I have 6 120mm fans blowing in my stacker and at 3.2 my temps are only 55 max with super thermal grease.

I think some of the newer ones are having problems hitting the high clocks like some of the first ones that were out.

I am referring to when the M0 stepping first came out.

Update for my Girlfriends E1200, flashed GA-G33M-S2 bios to F7b.

vCore 1.4250v
Nbv +0.3
FSBv +0.3
FSB 438
Cpu multi x8
CPU freq 3504MHz

Edit: Link to her system

not prime95 or orthos stable, but the system has not crashed other than stress testing, running games, and normal use (speedstep 438*6=2.63ghz) runs like a charm.
