Why is it smoking?

* UserName - Mr. Mojo
* CPU. Processor name - e2160 * Batch # - Q742A069 * Cooling - Air (Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro) * Chipset - P35 * Mobo - Gigabyte P35-DS3L * BIOS - F7 * FSB - 356 (still tweaking upward) * Multi - 9 * CPSD - 3204.15Mhz * Ram SPD - 427.2Mhz RAM Ratio 5:6 * Ram TM - 5/5/5/15 * DDRV - 1.9v * NBV - Auto * SBV - Auto * CoreV - 1.34v idle, 1.33v load * Idle Temp - 31c per core * Load Temp - 57c via TAT * Comments: this is a new rig so I'm still in the process of finding the max OC. Temps and stability are great at 3.2v so I'm hoping to push it much higher eventually. CPU-z validation can be seen here. This rig uses G.Skill NQ's which will limit my total OC. I hope to replace them with a pair of HZ's soon.

ive tried everything up to 1.55v, i cannot get it stable at these clocks as far as benchmarking goes, my girlfriend is getting mad at me because i keep threatening the life of her computer with voltages. so i fear for now i am going to down it to 3.0ghz, but i am glad i was at least able to get it to boot and run some applications ( games ) on this cpu. it now sits at 375*8 for 3GHz if youd rather put the information as it runs now up i can post it all.

i think you put my bios version under khurios' E1200 rig info.
also i just found my old E2180, and went ahead and ordered my sister a GA-G31M-S2L and a gig of ram. ill probably toss the E1200 in there and stock it, and ill put my E2180 in the S2 and update info again, sorry to keep you on the ball, but i change things here alot.

anyhtinggoes. Updated. Very impressive 100%+ OC on your E2140 with low voltages. Thanks for sharing information.

Finally settled on my stable OC for the E2200 Lins. Thanks again my friend!
* UserName - Darcness * CPU. Processor name - e2200 * Batch # - not sure * Cooling - Tuniq Tower * Chipset - P35 * Mobo - Gigabyte P35-DS3L * BIOS - F8a * FSB - 320 * Multi - 10 * CPSD - 3200MHz * Ram SPD - 400MHz * Ram TM - 5/5/5/15 * DDRV - 1.8v * CoreV - 1.5v (via BIOS) * Idle Temp - 30c * Load Temp - 50c * MCHv - Default * PCIEv - Default * FSBv - Default * Comments: Got this cpu from Lins himself. Got me up to 3.2GHz (200MHz more than my E2180). Seems newer E2xxx CPU's certainly don't clock as well as the early samples. But for the price, they can't be beat or budge gamers/OCers.

I should be moving into IP-35 land soon... Hopefully a little boost in the mobo department (along with a backplate for the Ultra90 and a lap job on it and the CPU) will push me closer to 3.5.

I'll be ready to be added to the list soon, have to let it "burn in" and figure this stuff out.
