I'm running Orthos right now, so I'm not sure if it will be stable or not. It ran 3dmark05/ 06, super PI just fine so I guess it getting there. Just a general question, is it true that the new e2180 M0 are not as good as the earlier ones, I've seen people complaining about them using much higher Vcore and max around 3.2-3.3 Ghz?

Yes I saw a thread on it. I have one that dates from the end of october I think. The new ones seem to need alot more volts to get over 3GHz.

EDIT Here's the thread.

I got stuck at 3.1 No ammount of voltage above that could make 3.15 stable. I link RAM at 1:1 and increased it's volts by .3 No luck I even tried pushing the Vcore to 1.55 all I got was a new teamps hitting 60c right before comp froze. After about a week at run at 3.1 my comp started acting quarky so I'm at 3.0 and I given up tring to get this thing any higher.

I biult this last setup with the goal of taking the e2180 to at least 3.5 hopfully higher. Though, I'm just stuck at 3.0 with really goood temps. 48-52c under loads after long peroids of time. I"m prbly going to go with a differant family next time and go with 2 or 4MB cache.

Yes. These new e2xxx aren't good as the eariler batches but it is still pretty good return -60% OC. It is purely for the budget build. The good thing is that you can sell your e2180 pretty quickly. Someone won't wants to touch my e2180 because it is high OC 24/7.

Sure. 1.51v in BIOS and 1.495v in CPUZ. 32c at idle and about 51c to 53c at load with Tuniq. The sweet spot is 3.6=360X10 for mine. I can reduce vcore to 1.48. What a huge difference for that extra 100MHz.

Nice, I think I may have hit a Vcore jump where I am to get 3.5. You get nice temps with your setup, I hit around 63 Orthos load which is cool but I want more MHz.
