* CPSD. CPU clock speed. 3.0GHz
* Ram SPD. Memory speed. CPU : 3:4
* Ram TM. Memory timing. 5-5-5-18
* DDRV. DDR voltage. Stock
* NBV. NorthBridge voltage. Stock
* SBV. SouthBridge voltage. Stock
* CoreV. 1.4375 and 1.2875
* Idle Temp: 28/29
* Load Temp: 56/56
* Comments: 8800GTS 320 @ 621/918 = 10,398 in 3dmark06. Also noticed temp gap

One could reach 3.3GHz but would go no higher, sometimes it would only reach 3.25GHz... One could get to 3.1GHz - 3.2GHz. I have trouble getting both stable at their maximum speeds, so I ended up setting both at 3.0GHz.

One had a stock vcore of like 1.3 something, the other was 1.2 something.

Both get the same temps. The load temps are pretty accurate, although they are probably a degree or two off, as I don't remember.

Very impressive numbers with stock especially the 10K in 3dmark06 with 8800GTS.

Hello,
iam new to the overclock net , but i come here for share my overclock and i need some help too

i have new asus P5e x38 and E2180 and a-data 800+ cl4 extreme budget ram and Big Typhoon cooler

and i put it to 350x9 on 1.36vcore and ram put tu 350(1:1) and 4-4-4-12 , and ddr volt. to 1.9 - in vista it shows 2.05 and vcore shows about 1.32 on load
yu think is ok?
also i test it rather with games than for stress cpu...and i get chopy performance, and it didnt happen on lower speeds..hm?
so guys, any ideas, what to set and how ?

First, you need to turn off CM1, TM2 and EIST.

sory for being lame, but what is cm1, tm2 and eist, its probably in bios ?

also i forget to write the system temps.. it goes from cpu-30 / mb-30 to in vista 39/39 and in games to 49/49 +- or so,... its safe? thanks

You have asus P5e x38???

I don't what's the BIOS looks like in X38 but it should be under cpu features option.

Curiosity, how much for the X38 mobo in Slovakia?

it cost 7000,- sk its cca. 210euro
the bios is 0107 , there is a beta0201 but iam not shure go for it, and bios looks similiar to the asus p5k... series , can yu explain what those shortcuts means?
maybe i find alternative name for it in asus bios...

also what yu think on that vcore, should i put it higher? maybe i will experiment little bit myself later

my goal is to have around 3.3gh and good ram setting and good temp. for gaming hm ?
