Temps seem high with a Tuniq Tower. Limited case air flow or high ambient temps an issue?

Note: last two submits haven't had NB and SB volts.

Poor airflow (no rear/front fans)

The E2180 has a Zalman 9500 (My E6400 has the TT120)

And the NB/SB are set at AUTO

I'm sure if I had better airflow this chip could kick some mhz. 300 x 10 @ 1.3 (havn't even tried a lower vcore might do that)

I'm going to get some front/rear fans and see if that helps

does anyone actually have a e1400? its only $5 less than the e2180. $5 for twice the cache is worth it imho. it just seems like a very out of place cpu. the price needs to drop by $10

Updated. Nice OC on the P45 board. 3.3G is very good oc for recent E2180.

ty linky ! I was surprised also , this is a really new one I traded with wannabeOC for. It even has the beveled edges and a high vid but OCs just great, with low temps.

**edit** I am finding 1333 fsb to be a sweet spot on x21xx for performance gains.
after that setting I get dimishing returns on the OC/performace.
