I'm trying to push my e2180 to 3.20 GHz, now prime95 testin'
My air cooler seems to be the bottleneck as I've got very high temps @ idle/load.
But I've set up my machine to be quiet ant it is
will post when done.

No, ArcticCooling Freezer7 Pro.
So far test run over 8 hours, machine seems stable @ 3.20, vcore 1.406 (BIOS), 1.344 (cpuZ) and 70/70`C under load.
I will run it 24 hours minimum (Prime95)

I'm not happy with the temps on my E2180 either, with a Zalman 9500 I was hoping for better.

I can get a higher clock easily but temps are not to my liking even at 3.0ghz.

I should of stuck with these CPUs....I had (well still have, it's sitting in a box right now)the E2160 running @3.2ghz effortless. I bought it at the time it came out, so I paid like $80...you know what, for that amount of money I'm not too concerned about longevity or high temperatures, as long it's stable.

sure I mean with the E8600 running @4+ ghz things are a bit faster, but will I really notice it?
just my semi rant/lament, thinking of saving a bit of money in any future builds I do....these CPUs are awesome, I didn't really even need to tweak much, all I raised was the fsb, the cpu voltage and nothnig else...and got a 1.4ghz overclock out of the deal.

Well guys, I've got it tested and it's rock stable, prime95 run 86 hours before I've stopped it.
So my E2180 get's up to E2180@3200GHz (400 FSB x 8 multi), FSB : DDR2 ratio = 1:1, vcore = 1.3600V@load / 1.3760V@idle (in CPUz, it's set higher in BIOS, but BIOS settings are NOT accurate !!!, in reality cpu gests less juice, I've got Seasonic 600 W power supply in my rig) and all that at core temps 80°C max load/37°C idle, no throttling at all. Above 3.2 GHz it starts throttling (both cores get above 81°C under max. load)
NICE.

E5xxx is the 45nm version of E2xxx with extra 1mb cache and lower VID.
