It is a LOT bit high, not just a little bit.

I've said this to other 45nm owners giving insane voltages to their chips, that if they plan on ruining their chips, I'd much rather take them off their hands. It is their money though.

New QX9650 owner here. First and highest OC is 4.0GHz (400x10), I'm nervous about pushing the Vcore, anyone know if these extremes are as sensitive to Vcore as the E8400s?
3DMark06 at 4GHz and both 8800GTs at 700/2000 got me 21,022, link in sig. SuperPi 11.782s. CPU is in an eVGA 780i with 2GB of Patriot 800MHz Extreme performance RAM, CPU cooled by a DangerDen MC-TDC block, D5 pump and GTX240 Rad.

They're running that OC with DDR2-667 RAM, too. That stuff is running at a 95% overclock at 1:1. Sheesh. Not going to last long at those volts though even on cascade. Temperature can help with electromigration from voltage but it doesn't stop it.
