What temp should I be concerned with CPU or core temps

For example,, I got CPU temp saying say 39c , then I see core temps with speedfan be 25c a pop, or diff temps diff times...
__________________*** ,,, is the core temps that matter, or the CPU temp, I dont know ?? please help on this one! guruz

You did not list the other program you are using. So, I recommend CoreTemp to monitor your temperature if you do not have that program.
You need to look at the Core temperature. SpeedFan sometimes shows 15C below the accurate temperature. So, I wouldn't use SpeedFan to look at your temps. On the other hand, CoreTemp should accurately give you the right temperature. How to tell? If your T-Junction on CoreTemp is 100C (For quads), then your temperatures on CoreTemp are correct. Also, G0 stepping can handle up to 72C if you did not know.

Soo sorry TaiDinH the other program I use is the ASUS Probe II ,
__________________Okay soo core temps it is. I dont get what that CPU temp thingie is for ...... and Probe shows CPU temp the exact same as speedfan ,,, sweet this makes me happy... cuz core temps are low numbers,, soo I got room to breath there, thx
