Very cool.
Computronix is the master IMO. I would refer more people with temp issues over there but I don't feel right sending peeps away from these forums. Let me know how the calibration turns out for you.

What do you mean not listed? It should work fine. It reads the thermal diodes embedded in each core of your chip (Tjunction), the thermal diode in the case (Tcase), the NB chipset usually, and any other sensors that are on the SMBus or Super I/O chip. It should not matter what board you have.

When I run it, It says:
![]() My fans are all 0 rpm, My cpu is -102 (?) and core is 50c. Ok, I cooled down the vid w/ rivatuner, So now its 49c

Ahh...now we are getting somewhere
I would recommend downloading the 4.34 Beta 36 version to start. It has some decent fixes in it. You will need to register but its free...Ok...the core that you are seeing at 50C is your 8800GTS core temp (good to know). The HD's all look like they are being read fine. The CPU is most likely your Tcase temp and I would suspect that the newer version of Speedfan will read it more accurately. If not then the temp guide will walk you through calibrating your temps in Speedfan based on ambient temps in your room. The core temps are also a bit low...unless your ambient temps are very cold. Again I think that the newer version of Speedfan will read those more accurately. With version 4.33 it was necessary to have a +15C offset in Speedfan to get correct temps with chips that had 100C Tjunction max. System temp is either your northbridge or could also be a MB temp sensor. I not familiar with what is available on the IP35Pro. You can easily verify this under load conditions. For the fan speeds I suspect that your fan divisors or something similar is not setup in the advanced options menu. It is worth playing with. Let me know what it looks like if you decide to try the 4.34 version.

I just d/led b36 and the cpu says -128c and aux says -18c
Cores are 29c. Fans still show as 0 rpm - What would I set it to for the advanced?

If you click on the configure tab...then go to advanced...then look through the drop down and see what sensors are available. If memory serves one of the options will be Winbond something or other. Under this option you will find a ton of options for tweaking your fan settings. Look to see what fan controller is selected. You can try each option to see if your fans display correctly. If this doesn't work you can also try changing your divisor up from 0.
I am a bit mystified by your CPU temp. This would be what I suspect is your Tcase temp. Go through the guide to section 11 and follow the steps to calibrate your temps. This will get you the correct offset for your Tcase from ambient temps. From here the temps can be verified by putting them under load and noting the delta between idle and load conditions. It takes some time to go through it but it is worth it IMO.

Bringing this back to page 1. Seems to be more and more temperature related questions everyday

This should be a link on the front page, in 100 size font, complete with seizure inducing pulsating action! So many threads could be eliminated by reading an insightful thread like this.
Just about every new comer to ocn (including me) seems to have some questions / confusion when it comes to temperatures and their respective terms. Great read.

I decided to run stock for a thermal test after lapping the IHS and HS base, first stock run since. I now have 50c Tcase and 55c cores on load stock volts. Is this something to be concerned about? As I give it more volts the delta starts to show more like 10c, usually 10-14c. All temps are properly calibrated and Speedfan has the +15c offset for cores.
