that's your problem. always clock in the bios. There were probably just a couple memory settings you forgot to fiddle with that were holding the puter from booting

I dunno if this thread is dead or alive, but here is my E8400's stats XD

Q842A220 @ 3.6ghz / 1.13V

Stock Cooler =(

Ran Intel Burn Test 10 times twice, both 100%, didn't go about 70c.


I love the E8400/E8600, they OC like beasts XD

I saw on some site someone got one to 5ghz with dry ice XD
