Sweet as a nut chief. Very glad to hear that you have got it running at 3GHz.

I've just had another quick go and have been playing Gears of War perfectly at 3.06GHz by just changing to the QDR to 1360 and the DDR to 680. No other changes and so far it seems fine.

I was just looking at your proof pic P1MP1NJ and you are rocking some high core voltages to achieve your 3.0GHz. I'd recommend going down to 0608 just so you could lower the voltages to your CPU and keep it that little bit cooler.

ya I upped it to 1.3 but i was running at 1.2something for a long time but sometimes I get bsods

im gonna double post but whats your vcore in your bios? I just installed XP64 last night so after I get done installing all my drivers and such I may try to flash to 608 and re-overclock

I'm just playing at the moment but I've hit 3.11GHz with the following settings:

VCore Voltage = 1.34.375
Memory Voltage = Auto
NB Core Woltage = 1.393
VCore offset Voltage = Auto

Memory Clock Mode = Unlinked
QDR = 1380
DDR = 690

Memory Timings still 4,4,4,12,1T

3DMark06 Score : WinXP 16536
Prime95 seems to be stable too but these are just initial tests they may not last the course yet.

why did you set your ram speed to 690mhz?

i can get 3.9, with p5k p35 chipset q6600 but i dont have it at that n e more, i had
to run it at 1.7 volts, 1.7 nb, and 2.5 dram and that WAS HOT. 2 hot

all those voltages are insane and could fry your hardware easily
