XS is very confident that RealTemp is in fact correct. RealTemp gives me 15c lower temperatures and 15c lower tjmax. Look at the screenie.

Please download both RealTemp and the newest CoreTemp and post your results.
get PC wizard, it works fine for me, just google it.

Interesting read.
All I can think of is we should exercise a little common sense.
How ironic that we preach... Who cares about idle temps give us your load temps.

This situation requires that we pay a little more attention to our idle temps. Example in my below screen.

Common sense dictates which temp is closer to being reality, yes?

In your case it makes sense that CoreTemp is correct, but it's different with me.

RealTemp shows me 29c idle, while CoreTemps hows 41c idle. My ambient is 22-23c. Also, your TjMax is only 5c apart, but 15c in my case.

Same results here. 85c tjmax in RealTemp, 100c in CoreTemp. This is Idiocracy...

Great point.
What's your vcore BTW?

Might I make a suggestion?

Do what I did with my Q66, overvolt/undercool your proc.
If it throttles at ~85°c, then your tj max is indeed 85°c, if it throttles at ~100°c, tj max is 100°c.

Make sense?
