Choose your file (green circle), click the Host It button (blue circle)


Scroll down and find the address for the pic (green circle) and copy it


Click the image button in your post screen (green circle), then paste your link. This will automatically put the IMG tags around your link (you could do it manually too):

i know how to do that bit, but when i paste the screenshot into my .txt document it wont host it because its an invalid file type

You could also use the "Manage attachements" button that appears below the area you type in to make a new post.

Have you tried pasting the screen shot in to your "Paint" program in windows accessories group (assuming you don't have a better image editing program)?
