just got myself a Q9450 as well and the first thing that suprised me was the temp from coretemp and hwmonitor. however, on my lcd panel it gives me a cpu reading of about 29-30 degrees. system is hot and in the 40's though... hope that it's a software error and not my heatsink/tpaste job... (using third-party cooler which isn't that much of an improvement from the stock)
