Very interesting... I already lapped mine yesterday and seen a little drop in temps. Still too hot for my liking. Nice voltage for your OC

EDIT: Vista wasnt stable with 1.344v?

What temps do u get with Water. I get 65-65-63-63 with Kaze 3000 full blast ~ 25C ambient.

Well yesterday with fresh Shin-Etsu I was getting 63c load. This morning when I woke up I was looking around 55c-58c. 23c ambient.

My other Q6600 before this was 3.6 with 1.39v and I never seen it load above 53c. Must be why I am not liking the temps of this chip.

i got my lapping kit coming soon as one of my cores no matter what is 8c above all the others still at 3.6ghz idling at 26c its dang cold at the mo though only 19c ambient core 1 is 34c all others 26c getting 62c on core 1 and 54c on all others under full load.

still at 3.6ghz 1.38v this is my wall on my cpu i cant get it stable any higher ive chucked 1.5v on all treid numerous settings but it wont even last a minute of prime without a bsod even @ 405mhz i.e 1620fsb 1600fsb/400mhz and thats the wall i think it could be my motherboard

Sounds like it. You running a 1:1 RAM ratio? Maybe that's limiting you too. I don't know what BIOS that baord uses, but try upping the MCH and FSB voltages. I've got a complete specific diagnostic sheet that tells me what i can do at what settings. Farthest i've had my chip was 4.48, haven't gotten 4.5 stable though. I'll keep trying. I run 4 24/7. She does 3.65GHz at all stock voltages and everything.

Dunno how it's goign to OC now that i have new RAM coming though...anybody use OCZ Fata1ity?
