that's an awesome OC on the RAM. My 800MHz XMS2 doesn't seem to like anything over 900MHz. Of course, it probably doesn't help that I have 4 x 2GB of it.

Thanks for posting those results. Clearly my RAM is holding back my system's performance, but not toooo terribly.

i wouldn't recommend tweaking with memset... I haven't tried it, but using software to tweak memory timings just seems like bad news to me.

i'm not exactly sure what you're asking for... you've got those dimms running way over their stock speed--you're gonna have to have loos-ish timings. If you're at 5-5-5-18-2T I'd just live with it if I were you.

Default This is my settings

I'm @ 3.4 Ghz so anyone with similar mobo can try. Using the zalman 9700 cpu cooler, I tried using my aquagate s1 again and it wouldn't even boot right @ 3.1 or anything higher..and my NB was running so hot, it's weird, I guess this board doesn't like it.

that vcore is over the recommended voltage for the chip... you should keep in mind that regardless of temps you may be degrading your chip with that vcore.

My Striker II Formula developed the Dreaded "CPU INIT" problem, I switched to a EVGA 780i Mobo. Much more stable. My question is about NVidia. What I have found that is working very well is booting in to win XP will my bios settings and useing Nvidia Performance (NTune?) inside xp to overclock. With this EVGA board I have access to pretty much everything available in BIOS. IF I try to boot from BIOZS with the same seetings I use in Nvidia I get a BSOD (Varies Page Fault, IRQ issues, others) , but if I change things in nvidia, I dont need to reboot to test the settings and ITs WAY more stable. Also I have modified my chassis some added some better fans.
I have been running for the past three days at 3.315 GHz (I havent turned off yet) ( I have been up to 3.4 but I need to tweek a bit to stablize there)

FSB 442
cpu core 1.381
NForce SPP Core 1.4V
NForce MCP Core 1.525
FSB Voltage 1.3
HT NForce SPP <-> MCP 1.250
Memory 1.85V

Do these voltages sound right?

With my usual work load (Lots of CAD work, Rendering, Excel, Word, outlook, etc) MAX temps I have seen are 51C. Typical temps hover about 44. I figure if I do some ducting to direct air a bit more properly I can drop these closer to 40.

Sounds like I will have to try out that program, though I have had no problems booting from BIOS. I also use eVGA's GPU OCer and it's great too. Your voltages seem ok, but I fount I could lower my NB and SB and still stay stable. Great job on the OC, and be sure to keep us posted.

I have some problems with the temperature of my Q9300.
I have this system : Q9300, Artic Silver 5, Tuniq Tower 120, ex38-dq6, 2x WD 250GB, Corsair 520 HX, Gainward 9600 golden sample 512MB, 2x Mushkin 2GB (Dual Channel Kit), A+ Monolith.

Which is the real temperature of my CPU in IDLE, STOCK ?

OVERCLOCK I didn't modify the voltage of the CPU.It is on "Auto".
Q9300 @ 2800 Mghz, IDLE + Real Temp 2.6

Q9300 @ 2800 Mghz, STRESS + Real Temp 2.6

I don't overclock my CPU any further because I don't know the real CPU temperature.
Maybe someone can help me. Why my CPU has so high temps ? I use Tuniq Tower with the fan on half power.
