Well I guess it's just by random chance that my Q6600 needs 1.5v to hit 3.4Ghz.
Thats strange... my Q6600 has the same vid as your 1.3250V but i only need 1.43V in the BIOS for 3.4GHz... in windows after vrop its getting 1.39 idol and after vdroop at load its getting 1.36V

I have had two with 1.3125.

Q6600 B3 and Q6700 G0.

Edit: Before pencil mod I had to have atleast 1.44v to be stable at 3.2GHz. I had a .07 vdroop also!
There's a pencil vdroop mod for a DS3L? Linkey please.

I'm getting some insane temperatures running a lower vcore that others with lower performance heatsinks.

Anyway, be happy that you can overclock your processor. Anything above stock is considered a gift in my books.
Good point. At least I can get a stable 50% overclock.

I'm just dieing to get a chance to pair this CPU with some more RAM and a half decent GPU (at least this MX4000 can run Halo PC on it's lowest settings).

It needs 1.52v in the BIOS, 1.5v idle and 1.43v load for 3.4Ghz. I'm just not going to let it run at 1.5v idle 24/7.

I thourght that with us having the same board and the same chip with the same vid that our overclock voltages would be similar... guess not!

It's not on a DS3L anymore, it's on an IP35 Pro (the system it's in).
