Just bump the FSB up. Give the NB a little more voltage and make sure your CPU has enough voltage. Hell with the 1.1 ram ratio its stupid.

Might be easier to if you set your ram to "Unlinked"

I DID IT! I'm running at 3.0GHz!!! Thanks to you guys and your recommendations. I also did some more research and decided to alter some of my bios settings from Auto to settings I found desirable. My settings are as follows:
AI Tuning: Manual Nvidia GPU Ex: Disabled LinkBoost: Disabled FSB - Memory Clock Mode: Unlinked x FSB - Memory Raio: N/A FSB (QDR), Mhz: 1200 (means 300FSB) Actual FSB (QDR), Mhz: 1200 MEM (DDR), Mhz: 800 (means 333mhz speeds) Actual MEM (DDR), Mhz: 800 Vcore Voltage:1.4250 Memory Voltage: 2.2 1.2v HT Voltage: 1.35 NB Core Voltage: 1.40 SB Core Voltage: 1.5 CPU VTT Voltage: 1.35 DDRII Controller Ref Voltage:auto DDRII Channel A Ref Voltage:auto DDRII Channel B Ref Voltage:auto tCL (CAS Latency): 4 tRCD: 4 tRP: 4 tRAS: 12 Command Per Clock (CMD): 2 clock (2T) Mulitplier 10x Advance Memory Settings tRRD: AUTO tRC: AUTO tWR: AUTO tWTR: AUTO tREF: AUTO tRD: AUTO tRFC: AUTO Async Latency: AUTO CPU Spread Spectrum: Disabled PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled MCP PCIE Spread Spectrum: Disabled SATA Spread Spectrum: Disabled LDT Spread Spectrum: Disabled CPU Internal Thermal Control: Disabled Limit CPUID MaxVal: Disabled Enhanced C1 (C1E): Disabled Execute Disable Bit: Disabled Virtualization Technology: Disabled Enhanced Intel Speedstep Tech: Disabled LDT Frequency: 5x PCIEX16_1 Frequency (Mhz): 100 PCIEX16_2 Frequency (Mhz): 100 PCIEX16_3 Frequency (Mhz): 100 SPP<->MCP Ref Clock, Mhz: 200 Also The reason I wasn't getting about 2.85GHz before I believe is because of my RAM settings. I had it linked, and it set and 1:1 ratio, however after a little more research someone suggested that I change that to Unlinked and leave my Ram at what it was originally, which was 800. So now its unlinked and FBS running at 333.33 (1333.33) and RAM at 800. Changing this setting is the thing that allowed my comp to start without BSOD after pushing it past 2.85GHz! I'm so excited. My temps on windows idle is 33 C for core and MB is 36 C. Will do some stress testing at 3.0GHz to check stability. Also I changed my timings back to tighter timings, (4-4-4-12 and 2T). However I do have one more question. If I keep increasing my FBS, how long can I maintain my RAM @ 800 before having to alter it? Any recommended settings? Once again thank you to everyone that looked at this thread and replied! |

Set all your voltages to auto. Then head to Asus's overclock settings. Manual mode. FSB settings. Unlinked. 1333 CPU 800FSB RAM. Worked fine exactly like that for me on a 650i.
