I would avoid the Q8200 unless you are office based and just use simple apps like Excel and stuff. I would purchase a Q6600 for an extra $21USD I know it’s the old technology but my god it can out perform the Q8200

Look at the E5200 it can reach 4+GHz with 1333.3 QDR and most motherboards can handle that easierly
__________________Another good thing is you can lower the multi to 11 and you'll still out perform the E7200 at 1066QDR

Anything with a multi of 9 or better will be OK...
But I doubt any will really be any kind of "beast" If you want to buy into the smaller dye, less power, more cache than the E5200/Q8200 will be OK

The E5200 with 12.5 Multi is the highest Multi i have seen for a while on a locked CPU. It will be like an extreme with the multi you hardly see any Extreme CPU go over 12x so this is a beast for $84USD

The E5200 is only going to be $84USD when it is released. The price for both the E5200 and the Q8200 is in the first post
