Does anyone know when (about) you'll be able to pick up a retail Core i7 and X58 motherboard?

I just search this but found nothing - Anyone know of a price chart floating around somewhere?
__________________I'm only getting a Nehalem build when 4GB DDR3 modules are available. I'll only have a budget of like $2000, but it will not be for gaming at all. (I'll have 2 systems, one main workstation, one gaming station). Is it true you need to buy the high end processor in order to overclock??????? Normally I wouldn't care about this as I was going to anyways, but now I have a smaller budget.

These aren't going to "blow" for gaming, but they won't be better than the penryn architecture. They will still game well though.

Still no approximation of when to start expecting the chips and boards to come out? Q4 is a pretty wide margin.

Intel Overclocker
|
info on three motherboards from MSI, ASUS and GIGABYTE
=>http://www.tweaktown.com/news/10000/..._eclipse_mobo/ =>http://www.tweaktown.com/news/9977/a...x58/index.html =>http://www.tweaktown.com/news/9979/g...pei/index.html They all have the northbridge in the normal position and have six memory slots i.e 2 slots for each channel so there isnt an odd one like in that daft intel board

I have a question...
Because the area of the CPU itself is larger than the LGA775 ones, does that mean the extra surface area will allow more contact with heatsinks and provide better cooling? Correct me if I show no logic of if the logic is flawed.
