Well im testing 4.2 at 1.248 and its stable so far, but i actually using 4.0 at 1.216 so can you change mine to that? Ill get the link in here soon

Theres the link for 4.0 at 1.216

And i dont think you can hit 4.2 unless you want to go over 1.375 for vcore. Try running 1.365 on 4.02, because that should get it stable

So I bought this processor today, and I am putting it in tomorrow, this will be my first oc.. I have noticed alot of people with the Zalman CNPS9500.. is that one of the better coolers?... or is there a better one out there around the same price?

I'm using the artic cool freezer pro 7. If you want something cheap this is the way to go. It works great too, running at 4.0GHz I've never gone over 53C.

I think since the 8400 is relatively cool running chip you won’t need a monster cooler.
