ok so I am using the 333 strap with my dram freq at 1081...

I am very surprised to also report core temp and real temp giving me the same readings.....I know everyone has mixed results but I guess they both work fine for me.

I also flashed a few months back, your probably on the 1402, 1406 is the newest version, although i am afraid i might lose my stability if I switch

one more quick question..When my 2nd 500gb Barracuda gets here, can I reformat and run raid 0 with this overclock applied or should I turn it down? Also when I reformat, even if changing to raid, do I still get my windows old folder?

shouldn't make any difference. i'd back up my files, format them both to the same format the slow way, then intall the controller/hdd's.

1.3v failed 22 mins in. my bios is version 1.1.0.L69, if that means anything to you ?

asus pc probe and realtemp are reporting about 5 degrees difference too. i'm tempted to go with pc probe as it has everything else correct.

seems we're running the same strap/ram speed also, albeit i'm with .1v more than you. wouldn't happen to be on 5-5-4-14 timings as well ?

nope 5-5-5-15...I think I have 2.02v in bios so it hits 2.0 which so far has been perfect.

If those are the digits you see during bootup with it saying bios version...make sure it isn't talking about something else...On my old pc my nvidia would first show a bunch of **** including bios and 256MB ram(5950 ultra)...now I see the name of some company that's popular after I post, I forget atm, and it does say bios version and a number/code

I know that the p5q series has bios names of numbers. I'm using 1402 and I think 0806 is before this one and so on, the newest one however is 1406 I believe...going to google it in a few

fair enough, it just says on the 2nd post screen bios version "1.0.0.L69"

although if you can find out more about this 1337 bios i'm happy to give it a crack with you. although what exactly makes a better bios other than more adjustability, is it a little more stable or ?
