Hello
I overclocked my CPU on 3.82Ghz (425FSB). My Voltages and other in BIOS: DRAM Voltage: 2.2V CPU VID Special Add: +100mV (1.31V of CPU Core in BIOS) VTT Voltage: 1.109V DRAM Speed: 333/800@1021 (My rams: OCZ Reaper 2x1GB 1066mhz CL5, If I set DRAM Speed on 333/1066 and turn on computer, it is squeaking "pi pi pi pi pi" Is it normal ? (Maybe rams need more Voltage ?) NB Core 1.405V Enlasce Data Transmitting: I set it from Turbo on Auto (Is it good?) PPM(EIST)Mode: Disabled Limit CPUID Max Val: Disabled C1E Function: Disabled Tell me the options are safe for everyday using ?? Thx |

Squeaking??? Does it sound like an old flash camera, waiting for the next flash to charge?
__________________If yes your PSU not up to the task. It is discharging capacitors faster than it recharges. In other words your line voltage is dropping off due to the load. Not GOOD. Most of time this will happen with an underpowered video card. If this is case it will get hot fast. And would be really hard on the mem controllers and voltage regulators. And if it smokes it will take the PSU and the board. And you will get to RMA. Worst thing you can do to your computer is use a cheap PSU. Because in the end there not cheap

well the nb vcore is fine also, is that vcore what you set in bios or what in reads ? http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...x?sSpec=SLAPL# as for what if its set, it should be within limits.also leave the Enlasce Data Transmitting on auto, you wont gain profomance through it. still personaly i find the ram voltage a bit much, but i cant tell for sure. the rest of the settings look okey to me and for the sound i would advise a better PSU edit: please fill in you pc specs

It's best to not have 'squeaking' hardware lol. Your OC looks ok for everyday use. Be sure to stress test your settings with OCCT, orthos, Prime95 for stability.

It doesn't make sounds at 333/800, but at 333/1066 Yes (Ithink it makes sound at 333/1066, because of small voltages on ram), temps in RealTemp max in stress 61* using priority 9 in Orthos after 55 minutes of testing. In CoreTemp max 65* in stress (but in my room is around 30*), Is it good ?
