The chip I'm currently OC'ing is the one in my sig.
So far I've got it from 2.33GHz (333x7 stock) TO 2.506GHz (358x7). It's small I know, but it's on stock cooling and only loading at 54c for now, so I'll keep going until it reaches 60c. I thought the main (If only) thing to worry about was temperature. I've run Memtest86+ v2.01 with no errors and ORTHOS to stress, all good so far. My questions are: 1. When do I have to increase voltage? (People say you have to when it gets unstable, but when is that?) 2. How much is a good amount to go up by, .05V increments or what? 3. When will I tell it's stable? Tnx all for help, if you can't be bothered answering, you could just refer me to a good read, but a condensed user generated version would be much easier for me. Rep+ for help, if you want it. (I hate the whole rep+ thing, does anyone else like me not really care if they get repped or not?)

You need to increase the voltage when you start getting errors in orthos. .05v is a bit much, I know my motherboard does .00625v increments, I go 1-2 increments at a time. If memtest is getting errors you either need to adjust your timings or memory voltage, it is recommended you use a memory divider of 2 when overclocking your CPU.

By the way; my FSB: DRAM is 5:6, should I change this in bios to be 1:1 instead of [Auto]?
