This is a weird problem. By default the settings should have been to enable cores.
__________________First thing take out CMOS battery reset mobo, put battery back in and move reset pin or likewise. There is no way windows will read it wrong and in task manager ull see your cores... gl,

ok in the bios it should be with th evoltage setting or the cpu options but you can enable core and disable cores.

yep ive sheck that and Core 0 Is greyed out and its Enabled, the other none working cores sy enabled! Mabe i should set them to disabled and see what happens then!

If that bios update works then well good. One thing to remember don't use orthos it only can run two threads. USE Prime95 or some other stress tester that runs on all 4 cores. My Q6600 had the same vid as yours and I needed 1.49v to run it stable at 3.6. Take your vcore off auto if you get it working.
