I don't know what they are doing but remember that even when you get your credit card bill you can dispute the claim which means that you don't have to pay that portion of your bill until it gets resolved. Since you have emails and such, that is all that the credit card company will need to do to resolve this in your favor.
__________________I would suggest taking the emotion out of in and just gather your evidence, and maybe even contact your credit card company to do and tell them that you are disputing the charge.

I don't you need to bother with the BBB right now. Get your money back via disputing this with the credit card company.

I got my money back. My bank stopped the charge. That was priority number one to begin with.
