mabye I have those problems because of my motherboard support my cpu since F6 version of bios so it might be some preblem there, but not sure of it

The 4850 is faster than a single 8800GT thus having a weaker CPU coupled with it won't be as big of a bottleneck in comparison to a P4/4850.

You'll see higher frames if you had a 9600GT, its less of a bottleneck than a 4850 to your processor. But, don't downgrade your videocard... Just upgrade your processor.

Of course I will not downgrade my graphic card :-) . Thanks for help .. last thing I will try before I definitely give it up --I will borrow that cpu from my friend and see if it helps or not ... Then I will let you know ...

1. Did you actually see your friend running the same settings as you and getting above 50 FPS in every area in COD4? (this is like catching a 1 foot fish and telling everybody you caught a 3 foot fish)

2. What 3dmark06 score did your friend get? This is like the SAT score. Standardized for everyone with default settings.
