I set GTL 0/2, 1/3, NB on x6.30.

Thanks, I have worked on this oc for a month now and finally got the settings right. Now I am working the GTLVREF Lanes for some fine tuning and reducing the voltage. I have run IBT for 20 passes without a glitch and now working with Prime for the lanes.

what are your temps looking like? on a 3.5ghz @ 1.128v my temps are 36idle and get up to 60c load. Cant imagine what it would be at 1.3v+ Not sure why my temps are that out of hand either. Same TT120 i used on my C2D and it kept it nice and cool and Im pretty sure I got it seated good.

Its looking somewhat stable now for a 4.0ghz oc. (see attachment) but the temps are scary to me hitting around 80c on prime95 load. Im not bluescreening or locking up yet which is a good sign. DO I need to reseat my TT120 or what here? lol
I ran with 471x8.5 with a 1:1 on the ram. Set cpu voltage to 1.35v and dram to 2.1v. Please advise on what I should do here.

Ghostkilla try putting the fsb voltage to 1.44v I have the same board as you ( rampage formula ) it undervolts vtt by about .08v so 1.44v is like 1.38V idle 1.36v load.
__________________Also try NB around 1.55v this board is not very good with high fsb I called Asus and Rey said anything under 1.6v shoul be no problem.

So far my settings seem stable, ill test it out overnight for stability when im not gaming on it and ill report what I find. Also im using real temp and set TJ Max to 95 and my temps seem to be more accurate now. When it was showing 85c on one core i had my hand on the heatsink right above the dies and it felt a little warm but nothing like it was reporting and I have killer airflow going on so I may have 4.0ghz licked on this thing, wish me luck. Also once I set TJ Max to 95 it made all my temps really close to each other like it should be with at most 2 degrees difference at idle. Reading 37-37-40-37 all the way across now at idle which im assuming core#3 is stuck at low temp but they all work once the fireworks start going. See attachment

I've read that turning LoadLine Calibration on will damage quicker the chip than turning it off.

How will turning on a feature that lowers cpu voltage possibly damage or further damage a cpu? Die temp on these chips is 100c plus they supposedly have thermal protection built in where they will shutdown if they hit a certain temp so unless you just overvolt the hell out of it I just dont see how you can kill one of these.

I just got my q9550 this weekend and I haven't even pulled it out of the box yet.
What is the safe range of voltages for this chip? I know with the 65nm chips I tried to stay below 1.5v vcore. Also any other details or tips for overclocking these as opposed to the Q6600 I'm used to?
