LGA775 takes a lot of time to tweak depending on the mb you're using that's for sure with a quad. Maybe sell your mb and get a DDR3 version of UD3P. You can still do your gpu/physix combo on that mb. If that ain't a possibility, just save your cash and get a X58+Gulftown![]() cruisant

I don't think so. As far as research goes this is the best motherboard after ud3p series for quads. Besides there's one guy here on OCN who has the same problem as i have with an E0 chip too. I have to admit that no chip is like the other and i have bad luck.

Lol i hope but they are discontinued. So I have to save money for i7 rig cuz i don't have any other choice
![]() Edit: i decided to give one more chance to the cpu. I'm @ 3.8 with 1.36 vcore. And other high voltages. This vcore is too much i know and temps hit 60c when playing l4d. But there's no other way to be stable with this cpu. But i have no other choice so. Voltages Vcore: 1.3625v GTL ref: .63v VTT: 1.34 PPL: 1.56 NB: 1.34 PCI: 1.50 SB:1.2 As far as i can tell CPU crashes with bsod code 124 which is usually low vcore in blend test below 1.36 vcore. Temps are too high. And you know that i want 4 ghz. What can i do with skews and other settings to work this out with a lower vcore (4 ghz is not important anymore i'll focus on making 3.8 stable with lower voltage)?

Keep trying man. Raise vtt just well above vcore or keep in between nb/vcore. It's the last time you'll ever oc a mb with a nb chipset on it. Might as well make the most out of it ![]() cruisant

What you said makes sense but even on 1.26v NB is 52c. And there's a huge 40 cm fan on the side of my case how am i gonna keep it cool. Besides i can't make 3.8 stable with 1.26 nb. Can i?

Try playing straps/divider at 400 except 1:1. Do 450fsb with your ram at 600Mhz(1200) 1.20vtt-1.26vtt and 1.26vnb-1.30vnb. As I told you earlier, read reviews of your ram and set the proper timings accordingly leave the rest to auto for now even static read control (performance level). Should be easy man, even these nvidia guys can do it![]() cruisant
