thanks a lot, i almost lost hope
![]() I will test now for an hour and see where it goes. BTW CPUZ reads the vcore at 1.280 although it's set for 1.300 in Bios

Well i'm on 4GHz now on these settings
Code:
MB Intelligent Tweaker(M.I.T.) What Bios settings should i change to stabilize it. and how can i enhance the memory timings. thanks

I'm getting tired of this mobo. is "unable to overclock decent" a reason to return or rma?
The highest I got was 395x8.5 - almost 3.4ghz. Not that bad I guess, but considering what the CPU is capable of, I'm frustrated. Next I will try turning my HSF if the RAM will let me, to get more airflow on the NB HS. Though it's got a heat pipe going around the side of the cpu. Not sure what the best bet is. (NB is too hot to touch for less than a second, with volts in the low 1.3s.) There's no room for any extra cooling on the NB due to the cpu cooler.

Here is my submission. I still have yet to test stabilty, but I am pretty sure its......@1.26v.
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=559369 Oh and best of all.....its got a VID of 1.1125v! So I got to get me a new mobo, I think I have a 4.5ghz monster on my hands!

Should I mess with my reference voltages at all? They're on auto.
Also : I think I'm gonna downgrade to 32 bit vista..I keep getting a dumb blue screen related to 64-bit audio drivers or something... 0x00000124
