Post E2180 overclocking problems

Hey everyone, I just started overclocking my Intel e2180 on stock voltages and got it to 2.4Ghz, but then it started crashing a lot. I don't know if I need to up the voltage or change the ram timings ( I'm using the 4-4-4-12 stock ones). I'm new to this whole thing and would appreciate any help at all.

You probably need to raise the voltage.

Make sure you have a sufficient cooler before overclocking. Once you do, put the voltage at 1.4Vcore.

Now increase the cpu in 100MHz increments and test for stability every time using this program.

If it fails, it is obviously unstable and more voltage is required.

Max voltage for these chips is 1.5V with a ****GOOD AIR COOLER****

Use this program to measure cpu temps. Do not let temps go over 60 Celsius.

Thanks Slappa. I have very good temps, mostly because my computer is a wind tunnel. I will try all that tomorrow. Thanks for the help, I'll post my results.

No need to say that.
A Freezer 7 pro would do just fine.

Loads should be kept below 60 degrees.

That is only at 1.48Vcore as well. 1.5Vcore would require something a bit better.
