Alright, so I have been really trying to get my E6600 to OC to 3.6, but it just wont get there. 3.5 will run orthos blend indefinitely at 1.38 vCore, but when I go to 3.6, it BSOD's within a few minutes. I've tried tweaking the voltages, but there are so many to tweak I just don't know where to start. I upped the vCore to 1.5, and it lasted a bit longer, but then that was it. I'm running it water-cooled, so it idles around 29C and under load it's about 53C. RAM is OCZ Reaper HPC DDR2 800. Board is an XFX 780i-SLI. Any help would be really appreciated.

Try to downclock the ram, I found that with PC6400 ram I had to severely downclock my ram to get remotely stable. Try putting the ram at 600MHz, see if that'll help, and if not then go down to 500MHz, then 400MHz, according to the bios, NOT CPU-z.
What is you FSB and you multi at? Might have hit the motherboard wall with a 1.2GHz overclock.

Mult is at 9, FSB is at 1600 on a 3.6 OC. The ram is running in sync mode at 800MHz, 4-4-4-12 @ 2.2v(factory recommended). I'm trying not to downclock my ram, because this is for a stable, long term overclock and I want the full 800MHz if I can. Thanks for the input
