Wow +rep nice results.
That little E7300 should help you last a long time. I can't believe your amazing overclock. You make me want to push my 3.4ghz Q6600 just a little more to 3.5-3.6 except i have no idea if i can do it with my horrible vdroop and my VID is 1.3

nice oc bro,
but little sad that this is not one of the intel cpu series that got attention from users due to their ocing capability, looking around forums, very little to manage 3.4 - 3.8 with less than 1.3ish, none like the great E8xxx series

i was quite lucky to get this one, never plan to oc when bought this tray but change my mind when i saw the VID, its 1.1250 , not so amazing yet its quite low for E7xxx as far as im concern

3.6Ghz 1.18v
3.8Ghz 1.26v
4Ghz 1.34v

not bad, considering i got bad luck with my E8400 C0 that do the same oc

yeah i never plan to get highest clock whith mine, but tried once for 4.5 1.44v just for fun, not even stable of course. my goal is just highest oc with lowest vcore that prime stable at least 4-6hrs.

thx
flo

Heya, pretty new to OCing (in fact, just started considering it yesterday =p) but luckily enough I already had a system that was decently overclockable

I call this the Chicken-OC =)

Mobo
Voltages
Ram (type speed etc, after oc aswell)
cooling
idle and load temps
anything else of importance.

e7300 @ 3.2ghz (320x10)
Asus P5KPL-CM
all stock voltages, didn't touch this option
Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 2X2GB @ 800.8 mhz 5-5-5-15 at 4:5(FSBram)
Stock Cooling
Airflow: Old style fully enclosed case, VEERY heat-loving --> PSU fan + Antec tricool 120mm @ max speed sending the air out back. Inflow is....through a disk drive cell that i keep opened up
39-43C @idle
65-66C @100% load (about 1.5 hours into prime test right now actually, very stable temp so far, hasn't hit a digit past 66)
Anything else of importance: Canadian winter helps

Its pretty standard with the e7300 I guess, gotta love how a 'mild overclock' took it up almost 600MHz =) I'm probably gonna clock it further once I go out and get a decent cooler though, just wanted to try this puppy out =)

My E7300 is junk! Needs 1.45v @ 4.0ghz.

Running it now at 3.8ghz@1.36v.

As you can see even Tom's had problems with theirs too. Like mine, it needs alot of vcore.

Thats Stink gotta hate a bad chip 3.8@1.36 is still solid though

Good effort l1kel1ke i found best performance increase around the ''mild'' oc. 3.6@1.2v works really well for me still low heat (48 max) and allows me too put me ram at a good speed 960mhz or so

3.7 here (intel burn test stable)

with vcore @ 1.316
ram timings 4-4-4-12 @ 888mhz
ram voltage @ 2.0

thats all

i can go MUCH higher; however, im limited to adjusting my vcore by percentages 5,10, and 15% being the highest. if i can go higher than that, id be able to hit over 4.0 with ease . stupid p43
