Dont for forget to put it in your sigs so more people can join. The more people that join the better the resource this will become. Thanks Rolandooo and tool918 for joining. And look forward to seeing the rest of you joining.

Just a reminder please Post your revision, Stable OC (FSB / Multi), Vcore, cooling (air, water, phase, dice, etc...), CPUZ validation

For the 3.6Ghz OC I had 400*9 1.25v on water.

Looks like this X38 board is not OC friendly with this chip at all. I cant boot @ 4ghz with 1.31v. I played with the GTL's for a bit and finally got into windows, so I bumped down the OC to 3.9 and started tweaking GTL's again.

Currently found settings that let me prime for over 5 mins This board does great with my Q6600's, so I am sure it can push this chip.

I got it stable at 4.05ghz 1.28 volts, ram set at 1080mhz.

A quick question about validating cpu-z and posting pictures on this website.
First off how do I validate my cpu-z, could you explain step by step? Also where are pictures saved at in vista when you push print screen on your keyboard? Thanks for any help.

if you go here to create an account: http://valid.canardpc.com/

and here to download the latest version of cpu z: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php#validation

you can run the cpuz program then the last tab will give you the option to validate once it open a webpage with your validation info then put that link here as your "proof" and I will add you... If you have further questions or more details just ask.

Does't work for me, when I try to save my valadation file to my documents. I cannot find it anywhere it doesn't save it like it's suppose to.

If I open up cpuz and go to the "About" tab then click on "Validation" it will bring up a window. Online mode or Manual mode. Step #1 in manual mode is to save your validation file to your harddrive.

Here lies the problem I click "save" at the place I want (My documents) and it doesn't save. So when I go to Step #2 I cannot complete it because the file is no there because it would't save.

What version of CPUz are you using? You should use Online Mode instead of manual. It automatically publishes your CPUz on the web.

LOL beat me to it.

Still testing @ 3.9 with 1.29v few hours into the test.
