vCore is 1.405 in BIOS, but I have some decent vdroop going on... It's high, but temps are still sane considering that. I wouldn't want to run it like this every day (especially in summer). Idle is in the mid 40s, load tops out just shy of 70.

EDIT: I see - thats low voltage for that OC
I've never really bothered to go beyond a 75% overclock. Some day...maybe when I decide I want to kill it.

Nah thats fine for these chips, on my old big typhoon I was getting 76*C load temps at 1.45v - its still good. 70*C is nothing to worry about.

Wicked job man, I've got the same chip but my P5N-E died recently and I am using a Foxconn 45CMX temporarily that can't overclock at all really. 3.6Ghz is my goal with mine as well, and as soon as I get a new mobo (P5N-D 750i) I should have no troubles from the looks of it. Plus I have the choice of Zalman 9700 or WCed to get there. Again, congrats! I was never able to take my old e4300 (same multi/FSB) to 100% overclock, 3.4GHz was my best with that chip.

I'm a believer in the philosophy that if I am ever putting the chip in danger, the chip will take care of itself. I don't completely disregard temperatures, but given how little we actually know about how they are measured and the specifications at which they become endangered I don't see a point to living and dieing by them.

Thanks man. 3.4 is sort of my "everyday" overclock (378x9), too. Good luck with that chip!

I just pulled a 17.494 SuperPi 1M run. Off to HWBot to see if that is decent... I am so terrible with remembering common bench scores!

Wow impressive corevoltage, you're so talented in overclocking that you don't even need any voltage in your CPU!! KUDOS!! GODLIKE!!!
