this board is hopeless. cant clock my E6550 past 2.9GHz. the MSI replacement board clocked betttah.
best advice is to up the GMch to +0.3v. its the max it would go and stay on 1:1ratio

On my P35-DS3L I could overclock my E6750 to 3,8GHz easily. Limiting factor was temperatures. @LILJO3Y: You should try upping the vCore (don't go over 1,55V though) and crank up the voltage on the NB a bit. What speed is it unstable at?

i am thinking of getting this board for my Q6600. infact i just bought the board right now.

Set multiplier at 8 and FSB at 400 That'll get you 3.2Ghz..My board doesn't seem to like a 9x multiplier.
Increase voltage to 1.41875 and lower each time until it becomes unstable...then raise it back up a notch. Do what you want with ram...I found it better to lower the timings and keep it 1:1... 2.00 D. Set PCI frequency to 100 disable the feature that lowers clock @ idle. CIA2 I believe its called. I believe there is also a few videos on youtube showing how to OC your Q6600/Gigabyte BIOS to whatever frequency.
