Exclamation Q9550 or core I7 920 ??? help me decide :)

Hi people!

Well im going to upgrade my cpu to a quad and i have 2 options:

1) sell my e8400 and add about 150 / 160 dollars and buy a q9550

Or

2) sell my e8400+ rampage formula + my 2x2 gb gskill ram for about 550 dollars and add about 200 dollars and buy:
Core I7 920 + gigabyte EX58-UD3R + 3x1 gb OCZ gold ddr3 1333mhz.

What do you think? Stay in 775 or upgrade to 1366? Is worth that extra 50 bucks ?

Thanks!

Pd: i live in argebtina so the prices are much higher than in US

a Q9550 is more then powerful enough for anything slated to hit the markets anytime soon. a buddy just moved from a 3.8ghz Q9550 to a i7 965 and there was no noticable increase, other then he posted up even more ridiculously high benchmark scores. although he does pretty much never have to close anything, even when gaming.
